Senior-Level Pig Stockperson - Ref 1731 Hampshire
General Information
We are recruiting for an Outdoor Senior Stockperson/Pig Manager for a farm in Hampshire.
Our client is an outdoor pig producer operating multiple sites, producing 8kg weaners to a high welfare standard on a batch system.
The successful applicant will oversee all activities on a 1000-sow unit.
The producer is looking for someone with management experience, ideally, but will consider those with less as long as they demonstrate excellent pig husbandry skills and the ability to step up.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:
- Excellent all-round experience in all aspects of pig husbandry
- Team player and leadership abilities, as will be working closely with other members of the team
- Attention to detail to ensure the efficient running of the farm
- High welfare standards at all times
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 DOE

Hours: Monday - Friday (07:30 - 17:00) plus a one-in-three weekend rota.
