We employ a skilled and experienced team of Stockpeople from pressure washers to managers and everyone in between! They can cover those absences caused by staff relocations, holidays and sickness or just an extra pair of hands. Our staff are able to adapt to new units very quickly.

We have people available at short notice – in some cases, within 24 hours, or in advance with our pre-booking system.

We can supply an experienced pig specialist for any period (from 1 week to 1 year) at short notice.

Ideally we need to know:

1. Your trading address and if different the pig unit address.
2. Job Description – what duties are expected.
3. Is there any specific farm machinery that will need operating/feeding.
4. Tell us a bit about the farm, setup of the pigs – how are they kept/fed etc.

We are Gang Master Licence holders, and our staff are covered under our Employers Liability Insurance, but once on site, on your farm, they fall under your own business insurance. All Temporary Workers engaged by Roadhogs are deemed to be under the direction and control of the Client from the time the worker reports to take up duties and for the duration of the assignment.

We can supply you with our T&C’s which will outline everything.

Relief staff will, in most cases require accommodation, which can range from mobile homes, B&B’s and house shares but if no housing is available, we can look at sourcing accommodation locally for a daily fee.

Once we have your booking, we will confirm it via email. We will then decide who is coming and ask them to ring you to introduce themselves and organise their arrival. They will generally do this a few days before starting. They will arrive with Roadhogs Time sheets, which they will complete with net hours and ask you to verify and sign them. They will then send us their TS and we pay them and then invoice you. This is done on a fortnightly basis.
