We are recruiting an experienced Pig Stockperson for a farm in North Yorkshire (DL11).

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large indoor unit concentrating on dry sows, farrowing through to weaning, with particular emphasis on either dry sows or farrowing.

Person specifications:

• Ideally, 2+ years of experience in commercial pigs (dry sows/farrowing)
• Highest welfare and care standards
• Motivation for good results
• Committed and enthusiastic about the pig industry
• A team player
• Must have a driving license and a car
• Able to work every 3rd weekend
• Able to work approx 50 hours per week

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 doe + accommodation
