The Zimbabwean native has a Bsc Honors’ Degree in Livestock and Wildlife Management from Midlands State University, Zimbabwe, plus other relevant pig production qualifications.

They have worked as a pig farm manager in Zimbabwe for over twelve years, covering all managerial tasks.

They say they are a goal-driven, service-oriented professional with relevant experience in scientific research, teaching and the industrial field with emphasis on agriculture, livestock and poultry populations, farm animal resource conservation, production, breeding and genetics. Their background strengthens their understanding of the agricultural farming systems’ perspective. They are conversant with many relevant computer data processing and management packages/software. They can considerably handle messy data, design mating systems, selection procedures, models in breeding, design and implement genetic resource conservation strategies, and elucidate the interaction of nutrition, physiology and breeding from a production point of view. They have ample knowledge of livestock systems research and biometry, as well as the unique gifts and strengths in adult teaching and extension.
