General Information
We're recruiting for a General Farm Worker for a farm in Essex, CO16.
Our client is looking to employ a general stockperson to work on their family farm. The farm has a small outdoor pig unit, which they want to increase, plus poultry.
They seek someone with good pig experience and dedication who enjoys variety in their work.
Job description:
- All aspects of the day-to-day running of the stock and farm
- Animal welfare
- Fencing
- Maintenance of land
- Pen rotation
- Stock rotation
- Weaning
- Feeding & watering
- Artificial insemination
- General farm work
- Operating tractors and telehandlers
The right candidate must be confident and happy to work alone.
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 DOE

Hours:
Full-time. Working Monday - Saturday (Saturday feeding and checks only). No Sundays.
